When my son, Theron reached 25 bilirubin level & we were informed how long we’re going to stay in the hospital, I did my homework. I need to stay in the hospital with him because of breastfeeding & while I’m staying there I tried to search some information about this Jaundice.
Learning about jaundice loosens my anxiety & my tension because I was able to understand the real picture of what my baby is going through. With my son’s jaundice case we stayed in the hospital for a week until his bilirubin level went down to 12.
After one day at home, Theron was sent for a blood test to ensure that his bilirubin level continues to go down. But then it wasn’t. It required us to hire a bilirubin blanket & we continue treating this jaundice in our home. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m so much looking forward to visit Orlando & Jacksonville, Florida. I have two aunts whose staying in Orlando & Jacksonville. And I haven’t seen them for such a long time. They weren’t able to go in my Las Vegas wedding last year because of the very short notice.
I was trying to check internet for possible great offer for Orlando vacations and thinking we could insert this in our future activity. Well, as you can see economy right now here in America is really not doing that good as compared before. Hopefully with this new president there will be a good turn on this problematic economy.

Fetal Development
This wee the baby measures 0.08 to 0.2 inches from crown to rump. The baby’s heart will begin to beat around this time, and it may even be detected on ultrasound examination. The heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute - almost twice as fast as yours. And blood is beginning to course through his body.
By this period, the digestive & respiratory systems begin to form too. The baby’s intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. The pituitary gland is forming, as the rest of the baby’s brain, muscles & bones. Optic vesicles, which later form the eyes, begin to develop on this period by the side of the head. Another gift listed for Yoanna is this personalized books I found in one site. Yoanna loves books & she love activity books like coloring books. I am sure she will love to receive a personalized coloring book this Christmas.
Yoanna can now write her own name, so having her name in the front page of a coloring book will definitely be a big shot for her. This item is such a perfect choice for toddlers. It not just entertains them but also it helps for their developmental stage.

Lately I’m totally embracing this Boppy pillow. It’s not just helping me out on feeding Theron but also it helped me to train my son on having his day nap different from an evening sleep. For sure, this thing I mentioned is a puzzle in your mind. Read the rest of this entry »

All I want for Thanksgiving celebration is the crazy sale! I was able to experience the thanksgiving sale last year & it was a different shopping experience for me.
We were in Las Vegas in my parents-in-law place & it so happen that my mother-in-law is another thanksgiving fan so the gang was really determined to wake up early morning and fall in line inspite of the very cold weather.
Last year, I shopped more on clothing & very minimal on some things for the house. It was just few weeks from the date we arrived here & my hubby told me not to bring that much things. So it was that shopping moment when I was able to complete my stuffs & also Yoanna’s. Read the rest of this entry »

The recent “Trick or Treat” celebration was exciting for us. Well, last year we’re not that much prepare for this occasion. I mean, I’m speaking about the costume. I just bought Yoanna a witch hat wand & basket for the candies. And had the trick or treat in the mall.
This year the church we’re visiting had a harvest party & there was a costume contest for kids. I was able to prepare the costumes for the kids. Yoanna was in her snow princess costume & Theron had his peapod costume. These costumes were gift from my mother-in-law, so I what I did to stand out Yoanna’s costume was that I got this nice wig, crown/ wand & nice make-up set to complete her fancy look.
I was afraid that there will be another kid who has the same costume as hers. So, I tried to complete her fancy look by a nice hair-do & glittery make-up. She was very cooperative with the entire concept, especially on the part where I was putting these silver false eyelashes in her eyes.
