Ok, I have to admit that I’m starting to like our area right now. When me moved here in Lemon Grove, I weren’t that delighted since I need to drive few miles for grocery stores.

Then yesterday, I decided to try Food 4 Less. When I entered the address I searched in store locator, the GPS gave me a nice route from my daughter’s school. It’s shorter travel as I expected – Just few blocks from my daughter’s school! Well, I’ll keep an eye on this store from now on.

In my yesterday’s transaction, I took my FREE Farmer John Wieners & less than a dollar Dannon Danimals Yogurt. Here are complete details of my transaction.

Unfortunately the Food 4 Less receipt didn’t specify how much savings I got from this transaction. I usually compute savings from Non-sale price & coupons.

Well, $3.52 for 4 Wieners 16oz each & 5 Dannon Danimals Smoothie 6pk is indeed an awesome deal.

Also, I noticed in the receipt that the John Farmer coupons were not adjusted to the sale price. The coupon value in this item is higher than the sale price. So, the balance $0.88 ($0.22 each) was then deducted on the remaining balance of Dannon Danimals.

Week 53C: Spent $4.24 for $61.39 items in Rite Aid

I made 2 visits in Rite Aid for their last week’s sale (8/27-9/2). My goal is to purchase Nivea Body Wash, Pantene & get my FREE Gain Dishwashing Detergents.

For non-Southern California Region, you can still copy these transactions since Rite Aid Deals cover the period 8/29-9/4.

Also, my planned is to try if the +UPReward is rolling (up to what extent). Since I’ve been receiving reports that even though it specifies in the AD a limit of one (1), still they’re able to roll their +UPReward on the same item up to 2-3 times.

Please take note that I used 3 different Rite Aid Cards for these transactions. I really don’t recommend it because it will be hard to monitor such numerous store cards. It’s just so happen that my husband took Rite Aid Cards when he made 2 visits in the previous week & treat the kids w/ice cream (so silly).

Notes:

1. I did 4^th transaction on my Aug 29^th visit. Purchase my 2^nd Nivea Body Wash & use $2+UPReward from Transaction 3 but that 4^th transaction didn’t give me any $2+UPReward from the Nivea. So, I just returned the item. I’m not really a big fan of $2 Body Wash.

Although it was reported that some fellow coupon shoppers was able to roll the Nivea Body Wash and still was able to receive a new reward up to the 2^nd roll.

2. I was able to roll the Pantene Rewards but I think its because they’re basically 2 different items. They just printed out rewards because they have the same bar code number. Check this POST for more details.

3. I returned on the store on Aug 30 to do additional transactions. I forgot to get my FREE gain Dishwashing Detergents. If I was able to include it in my Aug 29^th , I will not do another visit & be tempted to use my 2 other store cards.

4. You’ll notice that the coupons for Boudreauxs & Gain Dishwashing Detergent are higher than the sale price. The cashier just scanned the coupons & they system accepted them without any “Beep” or rejection. If you’re having a hard time using $1 Gain Coupon for the 89cents price sale, show them the store AD. It clearly says there that you can use this coupon on lesser sale price.

Week 53: Earned 43cents in $22.83 items in Walgreens

I wasn’t planning to shop in Walgreens yesterday but when I saw that there’s a Walgreens store beside the bank we visited in Eastlake yesterday, I tried to do some transactions just to roll my 3-$1RRs.

I just did 3 transactions & I end up earning 43cents fro $22.83 worth of items.

Although I noticed that there’s a mistake in my 2^nd transaction. Well, this adorable cashier asked me on where I got my coupons & from there we end up talking about coupons savings up to introducing the Coupon Sense program.

When I got home & checked on my Walgreens receipt, I noticed that she wasn’t able to scan the Walgreens paper plate, which is my filler item in my transaction. I’ll be more careful on my next transactions. It’s just that I have this excitement every time I meet people whose a coupon fan as well.

Anyway, here are the transactions I did;

Transaction 1:

1. The system didn’t went she scanned 2 coupons in my 2^nd transaction because she accidentally scanned the Breathe Again twice. She saw that but she missed the Walgreens Paper Plate.
